"SkyVoyager is hands down the best astronomy app available... I've used quite a few different iPhone astronomy apps, but SkyVoyager is the only one I use now and I have removed all others from my iPhone, there's just no comparison."yodetail, December 2009
"Compliments on the SkyFi and SkyVoyager. I have to tell you guys that I was out last Saturday night in 20 degree weather using my scope (crazy ... but hey). Both hardware and software worked perfectly ... and just to show off, I commanded the scope/mount to slew to another target from a distance of about 140 feet while sitting next to the campfire! Oohs and aahs from everyone!"Robert Nielsen, January 2010

"It is marvelous what this program does so effortlessly and with such a clean interface. I've used Starry Night Pro for a while, and it is difficult to use and is a hard drive hog, so I'm in awe of how this program keeps evolving and just gets better and faster with each new edition... it has worked to perfection in teaching me how amateur astronomy should be done." Jim Pulliam, Poseyville, Indiana, August 2008

SkyGazer and SkyVoyager are easy-to-use but powerful planetarium programs for the iPhone and iPod Touch. SkyGazer is the intro version, designed for beginners, and SkyVoyager is the "Pro" version for advanced users.

If you have an iPhone 3G S with a compass, SkyGazer and SkyVoyager can show you the sky in same the direction that you're holding your phone. You can identify stars and planets by holding your phone next to them, and you can find any object in the sky by following an arrow that points in its direction.

If you have a computer-controlled telescope, SkyVoyager can use the WiFi capabilities built into your iPhone or iPod Touch to point it in the sky. With our patent-pending SkyFi wireless serial adapter, your iPhone or iPod touch becomes a 21st-century telescope controller. See the WiFi Scope Control page and the SkyFi page for more details.

SkyVoyager and SkyGazer both include informative, plain-English descriptions of the constellations, planets, moons, stars, and deep sky objects. They contain hundreds of images from NASA space missions, the Hubble Space Telescope, and the world's foremost amateur and professional astro-photographers.

SkyVoyager's simple user interface, and its ability to wirelessly control your telescope, make it an invaluable tool for exploring the heavens.

SkyFi is our patent-pending WiFi-to-Serial adapter, designed for wireless telescope control. If you have a computer-controlled GoTo telescope, SkyFi can use the WiFi capabilities built into your Mac, PC, iPhone, or iPod Touch to point your telescope in the sky.

SkyFi is the only WiFi device on the market specifically designed for telescope control. It's battery-powered for field use; your scope, SkyFi, and iPhone all run off batteries, or from a 12V source.

Unlike bluetooth devices, SkyFi requires no pairing, and no special drivers. It uses standard TCP/IP networking protocols. Because TCP/IP is the language of the internet, SkyFi can enable your telescope to be remotely controlled over the internet. This is a capability that bluetooth simply was never designed for.

SkyFi provides a standard DB-9 serial adapter to interface with your telescope - or other serial device. SkyFi can wirelessly enable almost any RS-232 interface - to GPS recievers, industrial monitoring and control equipment, internet routers and switches, and many more.
