Displaying Objects on the Chart

To turn off and on different kinds of objects, use the display panel (the "toolbar") with the icon buttons : the Sun, planets, moons, asteroids, comets, spacecraft, stars, deep sky objects, grids, labels, etc. A complete description of all the display panel buttons is in the Voyager 4.5 manual on pages 25 - 28, or the SkyGazer User's Guide (a PDF file installed with the program) on pages 25 - 26.

In Voyager (but not SkyGazer), you can double-click any button to get a dialog box which gives you many more options for how objects of its kind are displayed. These dialog boxes can also be found using the Display menu in the main menu bar.
